Register your club's interest.
RugbyAware is back again, this year we are encouraging clubs to register their interest by signing up to host a RugbyAware session between August and October. This year’s themes will include:
Indoor Session (1 ½ hours)
•What’s happening in your local rugby community
•Activate - Injury Prevention Exercise Programme – Study findings
•RugbySafe & HEADCASE
•Touchline behaviour
•Signposting / previewing
In addition to this, clubs will be given the opportunity to host an outdoor practical session on the Injury Prevention exercise programme as outlined above.
Whether a coach, match official, teacher, parent, volunteer or player, the RugbyAware sessions are an opportunity for everyone involved in rugby union to gain knowledge and understanding on some of the current topics in the game.
Please encourage your clubs to register their interest to host a RugbyAware by completing the form available HERE (please see poster attached)
Next Steps
Clubs will be informed about RugbyAware centrally via the Community Game update and other media channels. Clubs are invited to register their interest in hosting a session by completing the online form HERE
At the beginning of July (and then again in August) RDOs will be provided with a list of all expressions of interest from clubs in their area. The RDOs will be responsible for contacting their clubs to organise the sessions. After this, any additional requests for sessions should be made directly to the RDO/CRC.
There are no events to show yet.
