It was fantastic to see representatives from ten Oxfordshire rugby clubs at the second Communities of Practice event. The evening gives clubs the opportunity to share and promote models of good practice in retaining and recruiting 16-24 year olds in the game. It is hoped that the resulting strategies will be taken back to the clubs and worked on to ensure the transition of this important age group is well managed and player centred.
