Game Management System update.
We’d like to thank everyone for their efforts in adding a substantially increased number of fixtures into GMS, via the ‘Team Management’ module this season, compared to the same period in 2017/18. This is critical as we seek to increase our knowledge about the amount of rugby being planned and played.
Administrators are reminded that a permission level is required to access the ‘Team Management’ module and therefore enter fixtures on your club’s behalf. To view the permissions levels available for clubs click here.
Please be advised that the role of ‘Fixtures Secretary’ is also required at your club in order to request approval for a fixture. We appreciate that this potentially causes a significant amount of fixture administration for the ‘Fixtures Secretary’ role holder, therefore we are currently exploring ways to expand this capability for additional role holders to help spread the tasks for clubs that wish to divide up their fixture scheduling responsibilities. The process to request a fixture is currently being reviewed to ensure that the most appropriate role and permission holders have the access to complete the relevant tasks. Any updates to this process will be communicated to fixtures secretaries and via www.englandrugby.com/gms.
