Opportunity for clubs to get ready for the new season.
Please see below a GMS reminder for all users ahead of our major pre-season communications in a couple of weeks’ time. The attached flyer will be available, along with a news item, on the GMS hub later this week.
GMS REMINDER:
We wanted to provide you with a reminder of some of the key areas of GMS you should ensure are up to date ahead of the new season.
Please note that we will be communicating with you again ahead of the new season with information on some new features within GMS and a checklist of what you need to do to get ready.
Updating Key Roles
With club AGMs taking place across the country this summer now is the time to make sure key roles within your club are up to date on GMS. Are details on your club treasurer, chair and honorary secretary correct?
Age Grade Rugby
Has your club reviewed and updated any players’ details as they move up age grades through the age grade competition framework?
In addition, have you:
•Updated coach and team roles?
•Ensured your player database is up to date, contacting current members to ensure they are registered ahead of the new season?
•Ensured all DBS checks are up to date?
Reach out to lapsed players
Has your club reached out to former members to see if they are keen to register for the new season? Are you providing opportunities for them to attend sessions in the new season (including Return to Rugby)?
Membership Schemes Renewal/Review
Has your club finalised its membership schemes ahead of the new season? Managing your club memberships on GMS provides clubs with data and insight under one roof, with the ability to manage and monitor all club memberships.
Ahead of the new season please ensure your club has reviewed its membership types and that details are up to date on GMS for your membership secretary and treasurer.
