Henley RFC Dec 3rd 2013
What is the Roadshow for? The Road show offers a chance to get from stakeholders in the game their thoughts on how we propose to shape the mini, junior and youth game over the next couple of years in preparation for RWC 2015 and beyond. This is the perfect opportunity to have your say!
When will it be held: Between October & December the Roadshow will travel to 28 venues within England. It will visit the Henley RFC on Tuesday 3rd December & Twickenham Stadium 7.00pm for 7.30pm start, finishing by 9.30pm latest.
How do you get involved: Everyone is welcome to come along to the Roadshow evening. We want to hear in particular from those organisers, teachers, coaches, referees and parents who are at the coalface each week of the season. We are looking for views on how the New Rules of Play work practically, to propose and get feedback on what competition format best recruits and retains players, and to hear the challenges and solutions that more players wanting to play will create for the people-resource in our rugby clubs, schools and colleges.
Who will present at the evening: There will be a team of deliverers for each session including Dave Fraser (Schools Development Manager), Stuart Armstrong (Player Pathways Manager) and Gary Townsend (Player Development Manager)
Where can I access further Information: For further information on the Rugby Blueprint Roadshow please go to the following link http://www.rfu.com/myrugbyblueprint
This is a golden opportunity for you to help shape the mini, junior and youth game over the next couple of years in preparation for RWC 2015 and beyond. On the back of the Roadshow and your feedback we will finalise a competition framework and make any necessary tweaks to our New Rules of Play, regulations roll-out and people recruitment/training programmes.
I do hope you will be able to join us.
