16 Oxfordshire Schools took part in our event at Banbury RUFC.
Wednesday 5th December saw 16 Oxfordshire state schools take part in the Oxfordshire RFU Year 8 Boys Festival at Banbury RFC.
The 16 schools were placed in to four pools for group games, followed by play-off games based on how each team finished in their pool; ensuring that games became more competitive as the boys gained confidence.
RFU Community Rugby Coach Nick Todd organised the Festival and was supported by RFU colleagues Alan Lane (Buckinghamshire CRC) & Rhys Davies (Berkshire RDO), Ian Isham & Troy Perkins (Wasps Community Team), James Clark (Community Rugby Coach) and Ian Walker (Banbury RFC U13s Head Coach); all on hand to provide pitch access, marshal pitches, referee.
We would like to thank all the players and teachers who attended, Banbury RUFC for hosting the event and everyone who helped to deliver the Festival.
