On Sunday 28th May 2017.
On 28th May 2017 Oxford University RFC will host it’s first Coaching Summit in Partnership with the Foundation for Leadership through Sport.
Throughout the day the event will explore three key topics.
*How can we incorporate skill training and development within warm ups?
*Using game play concepts to development game understanding.
*Developing leadership skills throughout coaching and playing Rugby.
The event will also examine how each of the above areas can complement each other.
EVENT DETAILS:
In an era of Coach led style of coaching we need to recognise the need for greater player involvement in the coaching and playing process.
Throughout the day we hope to be able to provide some useful insight on how to achieve this.
We are lucky enough to have 3 presenters that have a huge amount of experience at all levels of the game, from the beginner to the elite player. These coaches have adopted this player centred philosophy throughout their careers.
We hope that you find the day interactive and inspiring. Your contribution as coaches will be welcome during the event.
