Saturday 28th April, from 10am to 4pm.
From Adam Cottingham, RFU:
We want to celebrate what has been achieved this year and help clubs and schools to identify ways in which they can drive the implementation of Kids First in their own setting. We want to connect them with people from across the country and share ways in which they can put kids first. To do this, we will be holding a national convention at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 28th April, from 10am to 4pm.
We will share practical ways in which they can encourage creativity, build strong relationships with parents/guardians and build connections with others to determine how we can ‘break the rules’ and put kids first. Check out what happened last year by viewing our video.
Based on the feedback we received last year we are tailoring the sessions to the attendees’ roles. Therefore we are recommending that each organisation send an individual from the leadership team (i.e. Kids First lead, Chairman/Director of Sport) and an individual that can take the practical elements back to their environment for others to benefit from (Coach coordinator, coach/teacher).
