REVISED:
Revised Structured Season 2015/16
The revised Structured Season for 2015-16 has now been approved by the RFU Board and full details, including dates for Play-Offs, are attached. This follows the decision communicated to you earlier this month that the RFU Council would be delaying implementation of the recommendations of the Adult Competition Review concerning 1st XV league and RFU Cup rugby by 12 months.
The 2015-16 season offers unique opportunities for the game with Rugby World Cup 2015 taking place on home soil in the autumn, and the Structured Season makes allowances for this special event.
There will be no league or cup rugby on the weekend of the RWC2015 final (Saturday 31 October), while – for Levels 5 and below – each Divisional Organising Committee can vary league dates during the tournament (allowing flexibility for all fixtures between Saturday 17 September and Saturday 24 October).
Play-Offs for teams at Level 3 or 4 will take place on Saturday 7 May 2016. For those at Level 5 or below, they will be on Saturday 30 April 2016.
There are no events to show yet.
