Club Roadshow dates:
Optimal Ticketing and Hospitality Strategy for Twickenham
In September 2014, the RFU embarked on a comprehensive review of ticketing and hospitality arrangements with a view to developing the ‘Optimal Ticketing and Hospitality Strategy for Twickenham’. This was based on a firm belief that Twickenham Stadium has significant potential to be an improved key driver of RFU investment in the game.
In August countrywide roadshows, featuring a series of meetings with clubs, will explain and receive feedback on recommended changes to the Official Licensed Operator Scheme, subsequent alteration to ticket allocation to Official Licensed Operators and the proposed new structure for the monetisation of international tickets for clubs’ benefit.
A summary briefing paper has been attached, setting out the background and rationale for the proposed changes.
A nationally representative range of clubs will be invited to the roadshows, so that the views of clubs of all sizes and levels are heard. Any club wishing to attend will be welcome. Feedback from the sessions will then inform the resolutions presented to Council.
Specific details of the road shows including dates and venues are set out in the attached briefing document. Any club wishing to attend a road show event is requested to click on the following link Roadshow Booking to select their preferred choice.
The deadline for confirming attendance is as soon as possible, and no later than 5 working days before each event.
The RFU greatly values the opinion of its members clubs and would like to thank in advance all those able to attend to hear the proposals and provide essential feedback.
If you would like to provide feedback separately by email, you can do so by contacting us on clubroadshow@rfu.com
