Oxfordshire RFU 1st XV Head Coach returns to Grove RFC.
Chris McCarthy, Chairman of Grove RFC is delighted to report:
Following a short recruitment campaign after losing the Head Coach at the start of the month, we are pleased to announce the return of Craig Burrows as Head Coach at Grove RFC Ltd.
Craig left the club at the end of the 2015-16 season to spend some time with his young family; he continued to coach the Oxfordshire County side, taking them team to Twickenham and winning the day after a very hard fought match.
During Craig’s time at the Club the team achieved some of the best seasons the club has ever experienced gaining promotion to Level 6 into the South West 1 East, finishing in the top half of the table and also winning the County Cup for the first time in the club's history.
The board are excited that following his short break Craig brings back an enthusiasm and improved knowledge and we look forward to improved results going forward.
The Oxfordshire RFU Executive Board would also like to congratulate Craig on his appointment and wish him and Grove RFC their very best wishes for the remainder of the season.
