Designed to strengthen our Women's Rugby Offer in Oxfordshire.
On Saturday 18th May we welcomed representatives from across Oxfordshire Women's Rugby to Oxford Harlequins RFC for the RFU's Emergency First Aid in Rugby Union course.
This opportunity was created following our successful award of funding from the RFU's Women's Growth Fund.
Player safety and wellbeing at all levels of the game is a priority for Oxfordshire RFU, to ensure that rugby is as safe as possible.
Several volunteers from across Oxfordshire Women's Rugby will also receive opportunities from the funding to undertake free places on upcoming Coaching and Refereeing Award courses in Oxfordshire. All designed to strengthen our Women's Rugby Offer in Oxfordshire and provide players with a high quality experience.
We would like to thank all of the candidates for their commitment to the course, our Member Clubs for their nominations, Jamie Goddard for tutoring and Oxford Harlequins RFC for hosting.
