World Cup winner to host FREE taster session.
TRY GIRLS & WOMENS RUGBY FOR FREE!
England’s World Cup winner Kat Merchant will host a FREE ‘Pitch Up & Play’ rugby taster session on Sunday 10th July at Banbury Rugby Club.
Women’s rugby is a game like no other. It is a sport for the many, not the few. It is about confidence and contact, fitness and femininity, pride and performance.
If you’re tired of the treadmill, believe you can push yourself further, have a niggling desire to do the unexpected and are ready to celebrate a new sense of achievement then rugby is the game for you. We think you’ll like it. But we would say that, wouldn’t we?
Why not give it a try and find out for yourself. You really can get out of it what you want and play your way. Here's how you can start…
Banbury Rugby Club (behind Bannatyne’s gym on the Oxford Road) are hosting a ‘Pitch up and Play’ rugby taster session on Sunday 10th July from 11am to 1pm.
Specifically tailored to introduce women to the basics of rugby, this session will be a light-hearted, fun-packed, commitment free way of trying the sport for the first time plus it’s totally FREE!
England’s World Cup winner Kat Merchant will teach you the basics of the game – passing, kicking and, yes, a little bit of tackling too. Banbury Belles players will also be attending, as well as the Club’s Girls Coach Charlotte Eggleton.
Come on your own or with your friends (women and girls only!). Dress for the gym.
